So who am I, really? Well, to some people I am Lauren. To others, I am Lauryn. It doesn't really matter what you call me, cos I'm still the same person no matter what my name is. About myself...I am eighteen years old. I am an Aries. I believe in God, horoscopes, tarot readings, and happily ever after. Currently I am an incoming Sophomore at Ateneo de Manila University pursuing a degree in AB Social Sciences. I went to high school at Colegio de Sta. Rosa Makati. Can't say I had the time of my life there, but it certainly was an interesting experience.
Music is my life. I like all sorts of genres, and have no particular favorite artist. I don't listen to mainstream music much, but neither am I a connoiseur of never-heard bands. Lately I've been listening to emo a lot. I guess I've had more than my fair share of heartbreak lately. I play the guitar and the piano, and although I am decent in both I can't perform for anyone. It's called really bad stage fright.
I love to read. I don't have a favorite author because I read anything. But I prefer books wherein I can see myself in the protagonist. My favorite book in the whole world is The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. I've liked it ever since I was thirteen and I've read it about a million times. You think that a total bookworm like myself would read poetry as well, but the truth is, I think poetry is kind of boring. Maybe it's because I'm a frustrated poet myself.
I've also got my own little business. Now I find the entire process of managing it still a little confusing--specially those damn numbers--but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I mean hey, more numbers mean more money right? Anyway, I've got a relatively new web hosting business that's really affordable--$20 to $40 dollars a year. Not only am I practically the cheapest around, I'm also *very* reliable. Ask my clients.
Other things I like are RPGs (role-playing games), cats, cute guys, movies, clothes, rainy days, daydreaming, shopping and parties. I hate TV. The only TV show I watch regularly is Six Feet Under. My favorite movies are Reality Bites and The Matrix.
Hmm, that's about it I guess. Why anyone would want to read this, I have no idea.
