Coup d’etat is over
“The crisis in Makati is over” … in less than 24 hours. So that’s why we weren’t worried or anything. The rebellion was disorganized and had no support from politicians or the rest of the soldiers. All this drama for nothing except a big dent on our economy. The silver lining about this is ….NO CLASSES TODAY!

The latest news: “The declaration of a state of rebellion paves the way for the mutineers to be arrested without a warrant from the courts, aide to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo Roberto Pagdanganan said.”
Well I’m just waiting for that 5:00 PM deadline for rebel soldiers to surrender. That is 3 hours from now.

SHIT! coup d’etat ! and right where I live just 3 minutes away ( no. 4 in the map where the rebellion is taking place).
“Armed men have seized the financial center of the Philippine capital and set up booby traps, hours after the administration announced a crackdown on what it called “rebellion” soldiers.
About 30 armed men, who identified themselves as members of the military, set up devices between the Rustan department store in the Glorietta Shopping Center and the Hotel Intercontinental.”

FREE .ph domains
They’re giving away free .ph domains at http://www.domains.ph/PromoDomainSelect.asp. Limited offer till August 31 and up to 3 domain names per nameholder. The catch is the domain name has to be 18 and above characters long and to prevent domain hoarding, your site should have at least 90 unique hits per quarter. Hehe, well that’s one hit a day. And to confirm you’re a Philippine resident, they require you to SMS this certain number to complete the registration. The problem is the domain name will be hard to type. But it’s free for 5 years . Whoa, I didn’t know .ph domain costs $35 .
So, I registered ProtagonistWebhosting.ph to point to my hosting site and http://fatedblogoflaurenandjason.ph to point to fated blog. Hehe.. but it’s not working yet.
*edit… Duh, I just read that I have to wait at least 8 hours for this to be reflected on the
domain name servers of the internet

submit your cam
The old cam portal had so many dead links…I got lazy updating . Saw this cam portal script and it installed without a hitch. The portal can be sorted by the last modified date (newest cams appear first)
okay so all you do is re-submit your cam pic here. I’ll have to approve it first before it shows up.
