My gmail beta account

Whee!! I got a gmail invite from Ray, a member of the Orkut Filipino community I formed. The invite has been there since April 19 and I didn’t realize I had it till today. Bah. Anyway, I wanted [email protected] but it was taken. I got [email protected]. The beta testing is by invitation only.

If you haven’t already heard about Gmail, it’s a new search-based webmail service that offers:

- 1,000 megabytes (one gigabyte) of free storage
- Built-in Google search that instantly finds any message you want
- Automatic arrangement of messages and related replies into
“conversations”
- Text ads and related pages that are relevant to the content of your
messages

“Gmail, the 1gb webmail service offered by Google, has gone into beta. Blogger (owned by google) users have first crack at the service. Besides the massive storage, the free service boasts a sophisticated spam filter, no pop-ups/banners, and gives you search results relevant to the emails you receive automatically. Bring on those attachments!”

I think this will be useful for those attachments. We’ll see.

My necklace board

I have a huge collection of necklaces and bracelets that consists of 2 drawers. My current necklace boards can only accomodate a few. Need to get a wider board.

(comments are still disabled until such time I can convert to wordpress. That stupid spam bot commented all the way up to the 200th entry. That’s when I realized that I had to delete b2comment.post.php. Sure enough, “fist bang” spam stopped. Freak…who would want to go to such a site? )

Claycakes

Claycakes did my fantastic castle themed cake. The very moist chocolate cake came with a rich chocolate sauce. So yummy. Karla Magbanua, the owner is really an artist/ sculptor who ventured to cake design. . The Claycakes approach is very personal cos not a single cake comes from a catalog, so each product that comes out of the cake artist’s kitchen is distinct. It was so cool how she drew it on sketchpad and colored it. And the final cake design was what I expected it to be…including my kitty cat.

Waltz practice

I’m already excited for my Debut tomorrow. Stephen and Arvin are coming over to the house to teach me the waltz. And I have to practice with my shoes on. Please pray I don’t fall! What an embarassment. It’s simple right? 1-2-3 ….1-2-3 to the rhythm, right?

I cannot help but feel really pissed and disappointed that THESE MASKS didn’t arrive.

Jason was supposed to mail them last February. He also promised me 2 weeks ago.

Well, he got his revenge for all the crap I gave him. I hope he is happy now . He can start wearing all those 60 masks for the rest of his fucking life. Oh and he should start throwing all the confetti (which he never sent) to celebrate.

Other than that, I’m looking forward to my debut. Wheee….

car pool

Awake at 5:00 AM? Because my carpool leaves 6:00 AM. The usual schedule is 6:30 pm. But it’s Tina’s turn today. Her dad has to drop us early to school since he has to be at his workplace by 7:00 AM. Our informal carpool consists of Tina, Charlie and myself. Each of us has to contribute 3 car trips a week.

True confessions of a cam whore

Oooh the woes of being a cam whore is that you’re bound to receive positive and negative criticisms especially if you pose in an underwear. I’m a cam whore myself but I don’t show cleavage or model my underwear in provocative poses. Ewwww…. I guess that’s freedom of expression but you gotta get ready for all sorts of feedback.
