Concert of Artist Rights

Daynah is so lucky!! She and Al watched the “Concert of Artist Rights” in Long Beach. And performing that night was Weezer, Offspring, and No Doubt. Since I wasn’t there, Daynah gave me a photo she took of Gwen Stefani.

Last week, we were doing our nails for Home Economics. This week we’re doing hairstyling.Clickety! And for our culminating activity, we’ll be doing a fashion show this coming Monday. That’ll be interesting cos the tomboys were assigned the long gowns. Teehee!

new penguin skin for the Protagonist Forums

So I decided to make a Penguin theme for the Protagonist Forums. The Protagonist community are cute, cuddly and contented (well most of the time)!

You and me baby ain’t nothin’ but mammals

It really annoys me when teachers make us accept their opinions as facts. We’re having sex education for Health class right-only my teacher calls it population education. It’s so sad; we’re so repressed in my school that we can’t even use the word “sex". Did you know that sex education wasn’t allowed in Catholic schools until recently? Guess too many Catholic school girls graduated not know what penises and vaginas were used for, aside from urination. I think that’s really stupid. I hate it when people can’t even talk about sex objectively and with an open mind. People here always relate sex to something dirty, and a lot of people in my class think I’m a total slut because I know about things like blowjobs and 69. Which I learned not from experience but from reading and from having objective conversations about sex with more reasonable people. my spm results

After 3 months of waiting, I finally received my SPM results.

Me: hah cos my icon was red-haired
Peter: thats the image i saw when i heard you
Peter: no there was no icon
Me: or was it the icon beside the wave file
Peter: i just heard this “hello keypals this is lauryn and your in kci”
Me: well i do have an accent
Peter: yes VERY american

Peter is referring to this welcome wave file I did for keypals club. I did a search at the old KCI directory and found more wave files all done when I was just an innocent 10 year old..ahh I sound like a kid! [clickety the welcome, surf, join wave files]

If you didn’t know this… KCI is a club I started sometime April 1996 and where I met a lot of my long time buddies (i.e. Peter, Martin, Casey, Jeff, Nikkiana, Jordan, Jedigirl, Daniel P., ) or was it the other way around?
